Just a quick note with a few pics of some of the items I have been adding. Trying to get the individual photos done asap. These desk items were made for a young friend’s birthday. I think any young or OLDER girl would like these for a trendy looking desk.
Clipboard, coaster, photo album, ruler, pushpins---all with your monogram.
Also, some of the monogrammed items I am working on. These were for the Apple Festival, and the wine glasses and other items were a huge hit. Hope there is something here you will like.
Check out the Bette Middler record album sleeve. It's made into an awesome notebook with the original album included as a divider.
So, basically, anything you can think of----I can put your lovely monogram on it.
I'll be working on those photos for the next few days, so start thinking about what you would like for Christmas presents. And, they are very, very inexpensive.

Well,
It’s been a while since I posted, but with the new Grandbaby and working on some new items, I’ve been fairly busy.
I finally got some photos made of Bo Danger’s nursery here, at Paw and Granny’s house. I can’t wait until he actually starts using it regularly.
I think the Wall Words turned out really nice. And, with his middle name, Danger Zone seemed an appropriate phrase for the door. But I can’t seem to find that picture right now.
Last night was the first time I have been able to feed him, because Mom is nursing. But, he needed a little extra while we were visiting. There is nothing sweeter that watching a baby -do-ANYTHING-.

At 5 weeks old, he looks as if he will break out a smile, any second now.
But, as I said, in the midst of all this ah-ing over the new baby, I have been working on things for the Lincoln County Apple Festival. It will be held on Saturday,Sept 19, in downtown Lincolnton, NC. If you live anywhere near by, please be sure to stop by and see some of the things I am doing. My theme for the show will be ” Make it Personal”. I’ll have monogrammed items of all kinds and sorts, from embroidery to vinyl lettering, including baby items to gifts for the bride and groom, cheerleaders, Christmas gifts and more. I am trying to prepare a lot of “assemble your own” vinyl art items. Words and graphics which you can apply to anything you wish, like your car, your wall, your personal drinking cup, the list is endless.

Yes, it is true. I am now “Granny”. I know everyone said it would be so— exciting—but—OMG!!!!!! Is all this love really possible?! He is perfect of course. Jessica went into the hospital on Monday morning, July 20, to be induced, she was 1 week past due. The drugs caused little Bo’s heart rate to drop very low, and the Drs. made the decision to do a C-sec. Matthew and Jessica became proud parents at 5:38 pm to a 7 lb. 5 oz. 20 inch long, little red headed bundle of pure joy.
Mom and baby are doing fabulous. It is amazing what the titles, “Mom and Dad” can do to 2 people. These 2 turned into the most loving, natural parents, you could ever imagine. And the closeness it brings to a relationship–it makes you know–God had to have known what He was doing when He gave us the gift of children,AND GRANDCHILDREN. 
Maybe, now that Bo is here, I can get back to concentrating on “Justmonicabags”, or, Maybe not. 
I am still working on some great vinyl projects that I will be posting soon. I have used several for the nursery here at Granny and Paw’s house, and at Bo’s home, that I can not wait for you to see. Keep us all in your prayers, continue to pray for my husband to find a job, things are really getting tight. As I know they are for so many people. God bless, and we are wishing you

Where does the time go? Since my last post, I have been back to the dentist, I have to have a root canal next week. Whoo-pi!!!! I would rather go to GYN than to dentist!!!
I was at Myrtle Beach last week with a few “girlfriends” from church. We had a blast! Just basking in the sun, nap, eat, walk, nap eat, you get the pic. I did not want to come back to the real world, but as they say, All good things must come to and end, or something like that.
Speaking of GYN–Jessica had an appointment yesterday and she has dilated 1 cm. She is so excited and so ready for Bo to get here. The heat is making her feet swell really bad and she is trying to continue to work as long as possible, keep her in your prayers.
I promised a pic of the “diaper cake” I did for the baby shower, I completely forgot to take a pic in all the excitement, but thank goodness Jessica got 1 picture of it. This is the front side only, so it doesn’t show all the goodies that were on it, but you get the picture. If you love it, and would like to order one, e-mail me and I will give you and estimate for different sized cakes. They can be 1 to 5 layers, with various differences in the prices, but, I think you would agree, they make a wonderful, unique gift or centerpiece.

Danny is working on refinishing the hard wood floors in the grandbaby’s room, he’d better hurry!!!! I am busy painting and putting wall words up . As soon as it is all finished I will be sure to add a pic.
Danny had a couple of job interests this past week, keep him in your prayers. We are running out of funds and my business is very slow right now, actually down to a crawl, so pray for that also.

Today was kind of busy for me. I am now doing the Facebook thing as some of you know. I went on line this morning to do some updating on that. I then went to eat an egg and bacon sandwich and my mouth felt like it was going to explode! I just went to the dentist last week for a cleaning and xrays and everything was fine. But it feels like and exposed root or something when I bite down. The whole left side of my mouth hurts, so I called my dentist. He said the bite wings they did would not show the roots of my teeth, and I have crowns all the way around except the bottom front. So, I need to go in tomorrow and let him look. Now, I’m wondering how much this is going to set us back. Danny does not have a job, we do still have insurance, but what is the deal with dental insurance? Is it stuck in the 1950’s or what? It doesn’t matter how good your insurance is, dental only covers about a flat $1500 / year. A couple years ago I was having serious problems, the dentist said my teeth were getting so loose and I was grinding so bad, I was about to lose my teeth. He recommended veneers. It came to about $15,000 to do the whole thing. The insurance said I would have to do 1 a year until I got them finished. Can you imagine? I could have been walking around half toothless before it was done. So, the insurance only paid a flat $1500 and we had to come up with the rest!!!! Does anybody else have these crazy things happen to them? Anyway, I’m leaving for the beach on Saturday, and I am afraid not to get something done before then. I really don’t want to get to the beach and have my mouth blow up.
So, after all that, I had to pick up a couple of friends from church until mom got home from work, and brought them home with me to swim. I then worked on a new bulletin board project for a while. Have to get up early in the morning so I best say goodnight for now. Hope you find something on the site you like, until next time,

I am here to tell you, Danny has lost about 15 pounds since he started drinking the “Tai-Slim”.
It is amazing!!! I, on the other hand, have not lost an ounce. We started drinking the “GoChi” juice on Friday, I am anxious to see the results of that.
I am trying to get my ducks in order this week and get ready to go back to the beach for a week. If it weren’t for the excitement of the new grandson coming, I would stay at the beach all summer. I love it. I feel closer to God somehow, when I am there.
Speaking of the new grandson, the shower we gave Matthew and Jessica AND “Bo”, was a great success. Thanks so much for all the help I had. The place was a madhouse with all the people, but I don’t think little Bo will be needing anything for a while. Some of the pics are here for you to see.

All that work I did last week with the baby shower and those gorgeous “bootie boxes”, has totally inspired me to want to do something really creative. The members of the scalhints group at yahoo have so much energy, it makes me tired. But, if you like paper crafts you should really check out some the members’ blogs. The projects they do are awesome!!!!
Right now I’m still putting together inspirational sayings for wall words, to add to my catalog. There are so many, it’s hard to know which ones to include. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me hear from you.
As an update on the “taislim” , Danny has already lost about 10 pounds. I, on the other hand, have barely lost 2 pounds. Why is it men do so much better at that kind of thing? I will keep you updated. We ordered the “Freelife” product last night-“GoChi”. The reports of the benefits of the juice are very impressive, but since we are going to try to sell it, we want to see for ourselves.
The weather has made a flip from last week. It rained everyday last week, but for the last 3 days it has been extremely warm and clear. I cleaned the pool again today and the water was so warm, I just had to get in for the refreshment. It was great, I do not think there is anything more relaxing than a pool. Too bad we stay to busy to enjoy it very much.
Today is my oldest son, Jeremy’s, birthday. He is 31. Where did all those years go? I am not even that old!!!!!!! As I was reading my devotions this morning, I was thinking back those 31 years ago. Jeremy was born with a kidney disorder that led to a lot of complicated surgeries, and a few close calls on his life. Duke hospital was home to us for quite a while. The doctors and nurses there became our family, and we often go back to our scrapbook and thank God for them as we go through our photos. But I am here to report that the God I serve, is faithful. We were led through many nights of not knowing what might happen next, but God was, and is still good. Jeremy has been healthy since he was a toddler and a recent medical exam confirmed very good health. He is truly a miracle in many, many ways. I thank God that he has grown to be a respected man of God, working in church to help others. Happy Birthday, Jeremy, We love you.

JUST WANTED YOU ALL TO KNOW. I HAD MY FIRST MEETING LAST NIGHT TO TRY AND GET A FEW FRIENDS TO JOIN WITH ME IN MY NEW BUSINESS ADVENTURE. I WASN’T REAL SUCCESSFUL WITH MY FRIENDS, HOWEVER; MY HUBBY, DANNY, SAT IN ON THE INFO SESSION. BY GEORGE, I THINK HE IS CONVINCED. HE KEPT ON AND ON ABOUT WHO HE WANTS TO TRY TO GET “ON BOARD”. HE BELIEVES THE INCOME POTENTIAL IS REALLY REMARKABLE.
WE BOTH ALSO STARTED ON THE COMPANY’S PRODUCT, “TAISLIM”. I HAVE TRIED FOR SO LONG TO TRY AND GET DANNY TO DO SOMETHING TO LOSE WEIGHT. NOT JUST FOR THE SAKE OF LOOKING BETTER, BUT FOR HEALTH REASONS ALSO. OUR NEURO-SURGEON HAS TOLD BOTH OF US IF WE WOULD DROP SOME WEIGHT IT WOULD HELP THE SITUATIONS WITH OUR BACK PROBLEMS. BUT, WITHOUT ANY EFFORT, HE DECIDED LAST NIGHT TO TRY THE “TAISLIM”. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THE RESULTS. OF COURSE HE IS GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT A LOT FASTER THAN ME AND I AM GOING TO BE GREEN WITH ENVY. BUT, THIS IS AN ANSWER TO PRAYER FOR ME, FOR WEIGHT LOSS AND FOR INCOME. DANNY LOST HIS VERY GOOD, WELL PAYING JOB IN MARCH, AND WE HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR SOMETHING THAT WOULD KEEP HIM CLOSE TO HOME AND MEASURE UP TO WHAT WE WERE ACCUSTOM TO FINANCIALLY. I THINK IT IS POSSIBLE THAT “FREELIFE” COULD VERY WELL BE THE ANSWER TO THAT PRAYER. Well, next Saturday is the day for my 1st grandson’s Baby Shower. We are preparing and having a blast. Looking for baby quotes can take quite a long time ( especially if you sit and tear up at the memories in all of them!). I googled baby quotes and found some at www.quotations.about.com. We have decided to make Button Mirrors (like the ones you can purchase in my accessories at justmonicabags.com), for the party favors. Instead of monogramming; for the sake of time, we are printing cute Baby Quotes on the front and covering with a mylar top for protection to the paper. I will post a photo of one when we finish them. The other really fun thing is going through photos of my own “baby”, Matthew and wife, Jessica to add a little pizzaz to the party. I think you will agree, they are “good stock”.

I have been reasonably busy this week with web orders, mostly for graduation gifts, the laundry bags are a great item for inexpensive gift, or the towel wraps make great gift, especially for girls ( or boys) going away to college.
I am doing some vinyl projects for local people, but still have not had a chance to get them on-line. I am, however; working on a catalog of my designs for that. The web page www.myvinyldesigner.com, has great templates for catalogs if you need something. It seems the preparation for that goes on and on. But please do not give up on me, I will have them on the web page- A.S.A.P.
Gotta go, the pool needs to be cleaned for a party this week-end, and that is my job. Kind of gets me out of the house, and works on my “tan” at the same time.
